A partnership between Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) and Hitron Technologies will make Wi-Fi upgrades available to customers.
Those upgrades, called Wall to Wall WiFi, include a more powerful modem, signal extenders and greater control of a home wireless network.
The new household system will allow control through the MyHitron App, which will allow customers to see all the devices attached to the network, set parental controls, test internet speed and manage access.
The new upgrades will be custom installed by a Shentel technician to maximize Wi-Fi reach in a home.
